HUDSON, OH (WOIO) - All charges have been dropped against Pastor Tom Randall and he is scheduled to return to the U.S. this week.
Randall was released from prison on Feb. 3 at 6:00 a.m. after being held for 22 days for negligence.
His arrest was a result of an accusation filed with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Anti-Human Trafficking Division.
Randall has been cleared of all charges.
"We're encouraged and relieved that the investigation into this accusation returned no evidence of wrongdoing on Tom's part," said Pastor Joe Coffy.
Coffey is the lead pastor at Christ Community Chapel where Randall has been on staff for two months.
"We remain concerned for the orphans without a home to return to in Lucena City and will do all we can to care for them," reiterated Coffey.
There are plans for Randall to return to the U.S. later this week.
He will remain employed with Christ Community Chapel as a pastor-at-large.
Two others on the trip, Toto and Jake Luchavez, remain in custody in the Philippines.
