A former Cuyahoga County Sheriff Supervisor accused of stealing $50K from the evidence room appeared in court on Tuesday.

Michael Jackson pleaded not guilty to multiple charges; including theft in office, grand theft and tampering with records. Jackson remains free on a $10K bond.

Jackson, a 27-year veteran of the Sheriff's Department, was busted on January 21. The crime was uncovered after Sheriff Frank Bova requested an audit of every division under his command.

Jackson has since resigned.
