Flight crews will no longer have to wait in passenger security lines at Hopkins International Airport.

TSA and local airport officials have opened a new and discrete security lane for pilots and flight crews as part of the Known Crewmember Program (KCM).

"Not only will this new security lane allow flight crews to go through security screening quickly, passengers in the public security lines will also experience a quicker process," said Airport Director Ricky Smith.

The Known Crewmember Program began in April 2011 to allow flight crews avoid the lengthy security checkpoints.

At CLE airport officials also opened up another TSA Pre✓™ lane to allow select domestic travelers an expedited screening time.
