Urban Meyer added 23 more names to the Ohio State football team on Wednesday. The recruiting class has been ranked, by some recruiting services, as high as third in the nation, behind only Alabama.
The class is headlined by Georgia recruit Raekwon McMillan. The linebacker chose Ohio State over several SEC power houses. He is one of four linebackers in the class, a position the Buckeyes needed an infusion in. The new recruits can expect to have a chance to play early. "They have to play for us in addition to the players on our roster," Meyer said. "There are no redshirt plans for those guys, and we thought about it during the recruiting process. We wanted mature players." St. Ignatius linebacker Kyle Berger is among the newcomers.
