Gunmen targeted wrong house in fatal shooting

ASHTABULA, OH (WOIO) - Lydia Aviles Colon and her 20 year old son, Alexis, were gunned down in their Ashtabula home on January 27th.  Days after the shooting, Lydia's daughter told 19 Action News Investigator, Scott Taylor,  the shooters made a huge mistake.

Precious said, in an exclusive interview with Scott, "It was the wrong family.  I know it was the wrong family.  Someone knows something.  They need to tell.  they need to contact authorities because they know something.  They have to know something."

Investigators now confirm Precious was right.  They arrested 24 year old Lewis Arnold of Cleveland, who they say recruited people to be part of the botched robbery attempt.  He's charged with complicity with aggravated robbery.

19 year old Brianna Bernard of Ashtabula and Taquan Mathers are persons of interest and currently locked up on unrelated charges.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding 21 year old Marcus Lashley Junior who has also been named a suspect in the triple shooting.

Precious, Mook urged the public to get involved.  She said, "I can't do this without you.  Please if you know anything give the info to the cops."
