Victim dies after robbery on Memphis Ave.

Cleveland Homicide Detectives are looking for answers after a man is shot and killed after a robbery.

The shooting occurred at 2:30 a.m. on February 9 at 6101 Memphis Ave.

Officers were informed that the victim was shot multiple times in the torso and legs before being taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in a private vehicle.

The 27-year-old male died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Witnesses report that the victim was robbed by an unknown male in the parking lot.

The victim's identity has not been released.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the victim’s final cause of death.
