Robbery victim dies, East 9th repairs, Paying for potholes

(WOIO) -

Cleveland Homicide Detectives are looking for answers after a man is shot and killed after a robbery. The shooting occurred at 2:30 a.m. on February 9 at 6101 Memphis Ave. Officers were informed that the victim was shot multiple times in the torso and legs before being taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in a private vehicle.

The Cleveland Water Department reports that the East 9th Street water main breaks are repaired and water service has been restored.  For the next few days, crews will work to repair the road.

This seems to be a winter where the potholes aren't even potholes anymore. "There are potholes the size of bathtubs over there," says Adam Douglas of Lakewood. There are some like Muhammad Ali who have witnessed the never ending battle over the holes that are on the road all over the city, but especially along W. 117, on the Cleveland and Lakewood borders. Just this week the situation got dangerous.
