The Cleveland Cavaliers will head into the All Star break on a four game winning streak after a late fourth quarter comeback win 93-89.
Without Varejao Wednesday Tristan Thompson controlled the paint with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Thompson delivered a monster dunk to take the first lead of the game for the wine and gold. The Eastern conference starting point guard for the All Star Game Kyrie Irving added 23 more buckets, and a big three to put the game on ice.
Mike Brown and his young ball club will head into the All Star break with a 19-33 record and just four games out of the playoff picture. The Cavaliers will travel to Philadelphia Tuesday in hopes of making a playoff push, and that match up is scheduled for a 7:00 tip off.
