The man convicted in a deadly drunk driving accident was sentenced to prison on Thursday.
Charles Dukes, 60, was sentenced to the maximum five years in prison.
On January 4, 2013, Dukes drove drunk in the area of East 155th and Harvard Avenue in Cleveland and struck a vehicle driven by the 70-year-old victim, Thomas M. Thomas, killing him.
Dukes was operating his vehicle without his headlights on and was driving in excess of the posted speed limit.
On January 13, 2014, Dukes was found guilty by a jury of vehicular homicide and driving while under the influence.
