Crews are working to restore power to hundreds of thousands of people affected by winter storms in the South and in the East.
The lights are back on for many people, but more than 500,000 homes and businesses are still without power.
More than a 1,000 Friday airline flights have been canceled because of the weather.
And there has also been a human toll.
At least 16 deaths have been linked to the winter storms.
In Washington, DC, the body of a man was found dead, half-buried in the snow. He was a patient at a mental hospital who had wandered off days ago.
In Ashburn, VA, a snowplow driver standing by his vehicle was struck and killed by a DOT dump truck.
In Brooklyn, NY, a man driving a bobcat, clearing snow from a parking lot, backs over a pregnant woman, killing her - just three of more than a dozen deaths attributed to the winter storms.

Waite starred as the patriarch John Walton, Sr. of the iconic TV family from 1972 - 1981.
He also dabbled in politics, attempting several unsuccessful bids for Congress as a Democrat in the Palm Desert area.
Waite continued acting into his 80s, with appearances on current hit shows like "NCIS" and "Bones."
An accountant for Waite's family and his church confirmed his death.
Neither disclosed the cause of death.
