ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -

A kitten was found frozen to the ground Monday morning in Elyria.

A passer-by spotted the little kitty near Route 57 and Griswold.

Amazingly, the kitten, named Frosty does not have frostbite, but does have an upper respiratory infection.

Workers with the Friendship Animal Protective League have been trying to keep him warm all day with cuddles and a heated blanket.

According to the animal shelter, Frosty won't be available for adoption for awhile. He needs to be re-examined in a few of days to see the full effects of the exposure.
