Corky and Lenny's now open at Thistledown Racino

NORTH RANDALL, OH (WOIO) - Corky & Lenny's is now serving its famous overstuffed sandwiches and matzo ball soup at ThistleDown Racino.

With its third location, Corky & Lenny's is one of seven dining options conveniently located inside the racino, which opened in April 2013 and provides casual eateries alongside more than 1,000 Video Lottery Terminals and two bars with nightly entertainment.

"We're excited to welcome this hometown favorite to the ThistleDown family," said Rick Skinner, general manager of ThistleDown Racino. "As a neighborhood racino, we attract many local residents who are already loyal fans of Corky & Lenny's flagship restaurant in Woodmere. We can't think of a more suitable restaurant to have at ThistleDown."

Corky & Lenny's will be open 10 a.m. to midnight during its first week of operation. Beginning on Feb. 21, the deli will stay open until 4 a.m. on weekends.

A Cleveland staple since the 1950s, Corky & Lenny's opened its second location at Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, which debuted as Ohio's first casino in May 2012. The deli has since become a popular option in the food court and is now open 24 hours a day.

"We've received a tremendous welcome at Horseshoe and we're looking forward to the same response at ThistleDown," said Kenny Kurland, co-owner of Corky & Lenny's. "We're thrilled to serve our long-standing customers and introduce new generations to the Corky & Lenny's deli experience."
