After a summer filled with rumors of drug use, unstable mental health and marital problems, former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom has decided to continue his career overseas.
Marc Stein of ESPN confirmed that Odom has agreed in principle to a deal with the Spanish League Laboral Vitoria. No specific numbers of the agreement have been made public.
Odom has been out of the NBA since the 2012 season and was rumored to have a serious drug problem this summer. In December, he plead guilty to a DUI charge stemming from August in which he refused to take a blood alcohol test.
The Los Angeles Clippers met with Odom in November and were reportedly going to sign the veteran, but the deal fell through. CBSSports.com reported in January that Odom was nearing a return following extensive training.
