Cause released in deadly animal sanctuary fire

RAVENNA, OH (WOIO) - Firefighters say the cause of a fire at an animal sanctuary that killed four animals was probably a heat lamp that caught the straw on fire.

The blaze happened Friday evening at the Happy Trails Farm animal sanctuary.

The facility takes in abused, abandoned and neglected farm animals from all over Ohio.

The rescue lost two goats, named Venus and Serena, a cock-fighting rooster named Jason and a potbellied pig named Rico.
