Team president Art Rooney II is giving his quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a vote of confidence sating that he wants Big Ben to retire a Steeler. The 2-time Super Bowl winning QB has a remaining two years in his contract which typically is the right time for the organization to give extensions to the franchise QB.
Roethlisberger who will turn 32 years old in March is the current leader in TD passes in Steeler history. Big Ben looks to return the team back to the playoffs after two 8-8 seasons. The cap hit for Roethlisberger will be 18.9M, but the team has been vocal that this is a deal they want done.
