Cleveland (WOIO) - With Thursday's trading deadline looming, and with rumors flying around concerning possible trades, the Cavaliers went out and took care of business on Wednesday night, holding off the Orlando Magic for their 6th straight win, 101-93 at Quicken Loans Arena.
The Cavaliers led by 21 points in the third quarter before the Magic stormed back, cutting the lead to two in the fourth, before the Cavs recovered.
Luol Deng, who isn't expected to re-sign with the Cavaliers after the season and therefore is being shopped by the team, still came up big down the stretch, hitting a crucial 3-pt shot with :35 left to put the Cavs up eight, and bury the dagger in the Magic. Deng finished with 17 points.
Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers with 22 points, while Arron Afflalo led all scorers with 23.
