LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - For 37 years the Lakewood Travel Bureau has helped people reach the destination of their dreams.
President Donald Miller has seen a lot of Cleveland winters while working at his travel agency, but he says this winter has been the most severe.
"It's the worst," said Miller.
But the winter has brought Lakewood Travel a boost in business.
Since the snow started falling, the phone has been ringing with eager Clevelanders in need of a winter break.
Miller says business has increased by 15% since last year.
Donald says the most popular getaway is Mexico.
Donald mentions while most people would love to escape from the winter, oftentimes their wallets don't agree.
Planing a trip can become expensive but the Internet offers good opportunities to save money.
Airlines also offer special sales when flights are sold at a cheaper price.
Last week Frontier Airlines offered flights to Orlando Florida for $69.
