Snowy Morning, Strange Clouds in Atlanta, GM Recall, LIKE us on Facebook!

WEDNESDAY: Morning light snow, breezy, clearing in afternoon.  High: 14
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly clear and extremely cold. LOW: 11
THURSDAY: Strong winds and chance of snow showers. High: 11

Mother Nature put on quite a show Tuesday in the skies over Atlanta.
A row of fast moving clouds hovered over the buildings in Atlanta's skyline during the late afternoon.
They are nicknamed "river of the sky" because of their flowing motion.
The scientific name is Undulates asperatus.
The clouds form when two fronts meet, but scientists can't agree if they are caused by a cold-warm front or a dry-moist front.

General Motors is expanding a recall on cars with a defect blamed for several deaths.
The automaker originally announced the recall affected about 800,000 vehicles and the problem involved six deaths.
Now, GM says it includes 1.37 million cars built between 2003 and 2007 and involves 13 deaths.
The recall is intended to correct an ignition switch problem that can cause the key to move into the accessory or off position.
It already involved Chevrolet HHR's and the Pontiac Solstice and Sky models have been added to the list.
