A man once profiled by U.S. Marshals as a "Fugitive of the Week" has been sentenced to life in prison.
Judge Steve Gall sentenced Marlon Ricks Thursday afternoon.
Ricks was convicted of the aggravated murder of Danielle Coleman in March of 2012. Her body was discovered by Ricks' sister covered in trash bags and duct tape on a sidewalk next to the sister's home. Prosecutors say Ms. Coleman had been stabbed 17 times.
Ricks was paroled in 2011 and was staying with his sister after serving 20 years in prison for murder and kidnapping.
He had fatally shot his stepfather in the head and then assaulted and kidnapped a woman in Euclid.
