HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -
A Springfield Township man was arraigned in Hamilton Municipal Court Thursday a day after authorities say he drove a pickup truck while intoxicated into a Hamilton store, hitting a Hamilton man.
Hamilton Police say on Wednesday Robert Difiore drove his 2004 Ford pickup truck into the front door of the Circle K food mart on Pleasant Avenue in Hamilton.
As the truck drove onto the sidewalk and into the door of the business, the vehicle struck a 57-year-old Hamilton man, police said. He was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton and then transferred to a Dayton area hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police charged Difiore with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (a first degree misdemeanor) and aggravated vehicular assault, a three-degree felony.
