STOW, OH (WOIO) -

On Thursday, March 20, the Stow Police Department arrested Roxanne Lee Buck for the murder of her housemate 21-year-old Michelle Johnson.

The murder happened in Stow, Ohio over the weekend.

During a new conference, details were unveiled that the women had lived together just two months prior to the deadly incident.

Buck lived downstairs. Michelle lived upstairs. Police say that Buck was getting kicked out of home but she told police she was ok with that.

Officers went to Buck's workplace at Burger King to question her and say she was cooperative but evasive; they let her go.

Then, Johnson's DNA was found on bloody books in Roxanne Buck's car. The evidence broke the case wide open. Police believe Buck used a knife to kill 21-year-old Johnson in her downstairs bedroom.

Neighbors are shocked Michelle's roommate is now charged with her murder.

Carol Cain says, "Disbelief. We couldn't believe it. It was just crazy. It's a sad situation."

Investigators tell our Scott Taylor the killer tried to clean up the murder scene and dumped Johnson's body in a shed in the back of her home. On Monday, March 17, the Summit County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy on Johnson and determined that she was killed by sharp force injuries to the neck.

A motive has yet to be established and the murder weapon is still missing. After the killing Roxanne Buck went to work at Burger King.

The investigation has revealed that Johnson's mom and Buck are related through marriage.

Stow Police Chief Louis Dirker describes, "It was a pretty violent crime scene. It was obvious a lot of passion involved.  Passion is the best way I can put it.  A lot of violence involved."

Buck is sitting in jail with a one million dollar cash bond.

According to Stow Police she has a prior arrest record in Florida for DUI(s) and domestic violence.
