The Ohio Department of Transportation says that with the potential for multiple inches forecasted to hit the Greater Cleveland area, they're gearing up to fight another snow and ice storm.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, ODOT District 12 will activate crews in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties to keep roads clear and passable.
Crews will treat the roads as necessary and work around the clock until the event is over.
ODOT asks that motorists give the plows plenty of room to work.
The safest distance is a few hundred feet behind them.
Drivers should expect that conditions can change mile by mile and minute by minute and are reminded to reduce speed and increase following distance for a safe trip this weekend.
