Nothing screams spring like a day at the ballpark. The Cleveland Indians just released moves they've made to tweak the Tribe's roster for opening day.

Contracts have been purchased for right handed pitcher Scott Atchison, designated hitters Jason Giambi and of Nyjer Morgan from Triple-A Columbus Clippers.

A left hamstring strain placed Michael Bourn on the disabled list along with designated hitter Jason Giambi.

Designated right handed pitchers Preston Guilmet and Frank Herrmann along with left handed pitcher Colt Hynes for have been designated for assignment, and could rejoin the roster if they clear waivers.

Matt Carson and infielder Ryan Rohlinger have already been re-assigned to the minors.

The Indians open the 2014 season Monday, March 31 in Oakland.
