Crews in Winston County have reportedly found the body of a missing 8-year-old, Tyler Tucker.

He was found about 1/3 of a mile north of the family home, around 3pm, Thursday.

Search crews from across the state faced several challenges to find little Tyler.

"You can only imagine a whole forest just intertwined with one another," said Philadelphia Fire Chief Pierce Clark. "Those guys may be crawling through it, over it, they may be walking over it. They may walking around it. May be on the ground one minute, 15 feet high the next."

Tucker had been missing since the EF 4 tornado that blew through on Monday.

His parents' bodies were also found about 1/3 of a mile away from the family's home, but a different location.

He had been missing since the EF 4 tornado that blew through on Monday.

East Louisville Baptist Church Pastor Mason Joy says he didn't want to believe it when he first heard the family was missing. He had just seen them the day before.

"This past Sunday right before the storm, the three of them came forward not only to join the church," said Joy. "But their son wanted to make his faith in Christ public and asked me to be baptized. So, that took place on Sunday."

Pastor Joy is trying to stay strong as the community around him is literally broken.

"In my own life and in the lives of my folks it's just to encourage them to remember, in the truest sense they didn't die," he said. "They are alive more now than they ever have before. And I didn't lose them because I know where they are."

Winston County likely received some of the most damage from the storms that blew across the south this week.

In a Thursday afternoon press conference, the mayor of Louisville said the town is grateful for the outpouring of support and prayers.

"72 hours removed it's just truly amazing what has taken place with complete and utter destruction all the way around us," said Mayor Will Hill.

The city remains under a boil water notice, and Winston County is under a curfew from 9pm to 6am.

Volunteer efforts are being organized at the Louisville Coliseum at 201 Ivy Avenue.Noxapater Volunteer Fire Department is also taking donations for storm victims in the county. They are also serving dinner there.

Young people were seen today donating bags of clothes at the site.

Utility crews are working daily throughout the county to fix fallen power lines.

Our crew reports the numerous trees laid down and uprooted all along US Business 15. The former Georgia Pacific plant appears now to be nothing but twisted metal.
