Toronto (WOIO) - Ring up another nine strikeouts for Corey Kluber (third straight game he's K'd at least nine), and rack up 15 runs and 22 hits, as the Indians blew by the Blue Jays on Wednesday, 15-4 at the Rogers Centre.
David Murphy and Lonnie Chisenhall each had five hits, the first time since 1932 that two members of the Tribe had five hits in a game. Murphy also had RBI's in the Indians rout.
Carlos Santana blasted his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the fifth, and then the Indians pulled away late.
Michael Brantley (back tightness) and Nyjer Morgan (sprained knee) both left the game in the fifth inning, are considered day-to-day.
Kluber did the rest, going seven innings and giving up just two runs, picking up his fourth win.
