Police charge man in connection with Ludlow, Ky. shooting
LUDLOW, KY (FOX19) -
Police charged a Cincinnati man in connection with the Ludlow, Ky. shooting last week.
Ludlow Police took Raymond Virge, 20, into custody Monday and charged him with attempted murder.
The shooting occurred when more than 200 people were exiting a river cruise at Celebrations Riverboat on June 7, police say.
The victim of the shooting, 19-year-old Randall Mullins Jr., was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
According to authorities, Mullins and Virge got into a fight while the boat was on the river. The captain reportedly docked in Cincinnati to have the suspect removed. An hour later, the suspect showed up at Celebrations and confronted Mullins. That's when he shot Mullins multiple times.
The investigation is still ongoing and more charges could be pressed.
