GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Jason Herron, who watched recorded news coverage of his actions, has been tried by fire since burning that LeBron James jersey.
After James went to Miami four years ago, Jason thought the burning of the jersey would be nothing more than a local story; boy was he wrong.
And he's also a pretty accurate indicator of how Cleveland feels now after the essay.
"We're so glad he's back, couldn't be more thrilled we're ready to win some championships for the city," Herron said.
So after four years of reflection, Jason says James, the Cavs owner and many of you at home probably regret much of what was said and done after The Decision. But all those hard feelings are burned away by the essay.
"He apologized, Dan Gilbert apologized, we apologized, we're all back together," Herron said. "Things couldn't be better."
