Last month 19 Action News showed you surveillance video of a woman and child breaking into "Eli's Kitchen."

Tips helped police arrest Caron Simmons in connection with the crime.

"I have directed our detectives to expand their investigation into the entire circumstances of this crime and potential charges of Child Endangerment against the grandmother and others. I have personally notified the Director of Job and Family Services and asked for a full investigation of this family for the welfare of the child," said Chief Patrick Berarducci.

Simmons pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering charges. Additional charges are expected. She is currently lodged at the Medina County Jail. Her bond is set at $20,000.
