Escaped prisoner turns himself in

SHEFFIELD LAKE, OH (WOIO) -

The Sheffield Lake police department say escaped prisoner Jeremy Frey is back in custody.

Police say Frey was picked up Tuesday at his attorney's office.

Frey was incarcerated in the Sheffield Lake city jail on Friday, July 11, 2014 at around 5:00 p.m. on a domestic violence charge.

While in jail he complained of an illness and he was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lorain for treatment. He escaped while there and had been missing up until today.

Additional charges are expected to be filed.
