Police: One man shot on Cleveland's East Side

One man was shot on Cleveland's East side, near the area of East 93rd Street and Yale Avenue. 

Officers heard around eight to 10 shots fired in the area around 7 p.m. Tuesday night. 

When officers arrived they found a large crowd around a man who had been shot multiple times. 

The 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and a bullet grazed his head. He was driving his car when the unknown suspects shot at him, and he crashed his car into a tree. 

Fifth District detectives are investigating. At least one suspect has been arrested. 

The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and is in surgery. His condition is unknown.
