EASTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - In Eastlake, police were called to a home on East 360th Street to help a raccoon that was stuck in a trash can on Tuesday morning.
The raccoon's head was stuck in a hole near the bottom of the can. Another raccoon was trying to free his friend by pushing on his head.
However, it wasn't working. Officers were able to use a snare and make the hole larger, allowing the scared animal to escape.
Both raccoons were released into the wild safely. You can read the full post on the Eastlake Police Facebook page.
