Four Case Western Reserve students told police they were robbed by three young men at gunpoint while they were studying at Wade Commons Saturday afternoon.
Police say the three suspects are likely teenagers and were wearing hoodies tied tight to their face, possibly wearing bandanas. The weapon was described as a silver handgun.
Most of the student's property was recovered in a building off campus. No arrests have been made.
The university issued the following statement;
"We are profoundly grateful that no one was physically injured during this crime, but appalled that such an incident could take place within one of our buildings. Our hearts go out to the students involved, and we pledge to them and everyone else on campus to find additional ways to improve safety here."
