TWINSBURG, OH (WOIO) - Glenn Wong, 51, was sentenced to life in prison without parole in the stabbing death of his wife Tami Wong. The Twinsburg man stabbed her more than 100 times while his two young children were in the house.
The 10-year-old daughter called 911.
"Our hearts go out to these two children," said Twinsburg Police Chief Chris Noga. "No child should ever have to endure this kind of tragedy and we ask our community to keep them in their thoughts and prayers."
On the morning of February 24, 2013, Wong and his wife Tami got into a brief argument. He went into the kitchen where he retrieved two large knives from the knife block. Wong then returned to his bedroom, walking past his two young children in the family room, and stabbed Tami 103 times.
When the couple's daughter heard her mother screaming for help, she called 911. There is no history of domestic violence calls to Twinsburg police.
