MENTOR, OH (WOIO) - Mentor Police reported that a 22-year-old woman was arrested for child endangering, OVI and resisting arrest.
Kayla Kessler was pulled over on Heisley Road near Jackson Street in Mentor. Her infant daughter was found laying on the back seat.
Police say they received a call that Kessler was intoxicated while leaving a restaurant near Mentor Avenue and Heisley Road. She was then seen stumbling to her car.
A Kirtland Hills Officer in the area tried to pull Kessler over but she kept driving. When Mentor Police arrived she pulled over and was arrested.
Kessler tried to kick out the windows of the cruiser after her arrest.
