Minneapolis, MN (WOIO) - Carlos Santana went 4-for-5 and belted his 15th home run of the year, and David Murphy tacked on two more RBI's to raise his total to 48, as the Indians bounced back against the Twins on Tuesday, 8-2 at Target Field.
Santana's solo shot came in the 5th, extending the Indians' lead to 4-1, and they pulled away from there.
Yan Gomes' RBI double brought Nick Swisher home in the 9th, making it a 5-2 game, before Chris Dickerson delivered the dagger with a two-run single.
Danny Salazar went five innings for the Tribe, giving up one run on six hits, before turning it over to the bullpen.
Santana finished just a triple short of the cycle.
