Minneapolis, MN (WOIO) - Beating the first-place Detroit Tigers was no problem for the Tribe, as they took 3 out of 4 at Comerica Park last week. Unfortunately, beating the last-place Twins is, as Minnesota needed only three runs to take 2 out of 3, wrapping it up with a 3-1 matinee win on Wednesday.
The Indians' lone run came in the third inning, as Jose Ramirez doubled home David Murphy to give the Tribe the early lead.
But the Twins answered in the bottom half, on Sam Fuld's RBI single, and Brian Dozier added an RBI double in the fifth.
Oswaldo Arcia capped off the scoring with a solo home run in the 6th.
Trevor Bauer (4-5) finished six innings for the 11th time in 14 starts this season for the Indians, but he lost for the first time in five July starts.
