Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is considering sitting out the 2014-2015 season if Donald Sterling remains the owner of the team. Not only is Paul considering this, but head coach Doc Rivers and other Clippers teammates are as well.
The guard told reporters, "Something has to happen, and something needs to happen soon -- sooner rather than later. We're all going to talk about it," Paul added. "We're all definitely going to talk about it. Doc, Blake (Griffin), DJ (DeAndre Jordan). It's unacceptable."
It would be surprising if Sterling was in control of the team come training camp, but it is important for the players to make it known that they will not play for the man who was recorded by a girlfriend making racist comments. If Sterling does maintain ownership over the Clippers, it could possibly spread to a league-wide rebellion.
