The second day of Browns Training Camp, like the first, saw a lot of talk about the quarterbacks. Head Coach Mike Pettine was asked if it was hard to compare Johnny Manziel to Brian Hoyer because the two work with two different supporting casts. "It's not. They still have things they need to accomplish every play. That starts with getting the play and calling it right in the huddle—all the minute details that they're being evaluated on. Footwork, where their eyes are, if their eyes are where they're supposed to be as far as making the read, the mechanics of the throw—all those things go into it."
Veteran receiver Nate Burleson addressed the receiver position. He was asked if critics are short changing the unit if they do lose Josh Gordon for the season. "Yeah, I'll let them think that. That's good. It's great motivation. It's the quiet storm. We'll just keep working, and then when it's game time we'll wait for everyone to jump on the bandwagon."
The Browns hit the field again on Monday, they will not have a day off until Wednesday.
