Kinsman and E. 134th homicide victim ID'd, still no suspects

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating the death of a 42-year-old black man which occurred on Kinsman Road at East 134th Street on Tuesday afternoon. 

Officers responded to a corner store in the area around 2 p.m. for shots fired. The victim, identified as Lorenzo Frazier, was located a short time later in the backyard of a home in the 3400 block of East 134th Street.

Witnesses said Frazier walked out of a store and was approached by a younger male. The two men argued and then the suspect shot Frazier before running away. Frazier left the area as well and reportedly collapsed in a yard on E. 134th

He was transported by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the final cause of death.

No suspect description is available at this time. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
