Norfolk Southern Railroad needs to complete some work on the bridge that crosses over tracks near RTA's West 98th Street station. For customer safety, train service will need to be suspended during their work, which starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

RTA will provide shuttle buses between Tower City and West 117th Street starting at 7 until the Norfolk Southern work is complete. Regular rail service will continue as scheduled between West 117th Street station and the Airport during this time.

Those going to the Cleveland Indians game need to arrive before 7 p.m. if traveling on the Red Line. For going home, check with supervisors to see if Norfolk Southern work is complete and if there is a bus or train to take you home. There will be one or the other until end of service Wednesday night.

As soon as regular rail service can resume, it will be posted on the RTA's website, as well as its Facebook and Twitter pages.
