Cleveland (WOIO) - Zach McAllister lasted only three and a-third innings, giving up four runs, and Mike Zunino's two-run homer in the 8th rallied the Mariners late, as Seattle took two out of three from the Indians with a 6-5 win at Progressive Field on Thursday.
Michael Brantley staked the Tribe to an early lead, bringing home Jason Kipnis with an RBI single in the first. But the next four belonged to the Mariners, with Dustin Ackley's two-run homer the big hit off McAllister in the third.
Jason Kipnis answered with a two-run shot of his own in the bottom half of the third, and Carlos Santana's RBI single in the 7th gave the Indians a 5-4 lead, before Shaw gave up the blast to Zunino.
The Indians (53-55) host the Texas Rangers on Friday.
