Josh Gordon was in New York City on Friday pleading his case to the NFL on why he should not be suspended for an entire year. The meeting went till roughly 7:00 and the two sides were not finished, it will pick up again on Monday morning.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, Gordon's team is basing his defense on a positive test that barely tested positive, a second sample from Gordon came up negative. Gordon's team will argue that second-hand smoke is to blame. The receiver has also been arrested for DUI since the positive test and was pulled over another time with drugs in the car that were said to belong to a passenger.
Gordon lead the league in receiving in 2013 despite missing two games for violating the league's drug policy.
