Two Cleveland women were held against their will inside an apartment on the 3700 block of East 55th Street for five days.
A 59-year-old woman and her 20-year-old daughter were held at gunpoint after the suspects stole some of the woman's prescription medications late July 18.
When she threatened to call police, they pulled out their guns and threatened to kill her and her daughter if they called police.
Over the next five days, the woman's daughter was allowed to leave the apartment for work but was told if she called police they would kill her mother.
Then on July 23, the daughters friend couldn't get in touch of her, but was able to talk to the mother. She said that two men from Detroit were holding her hostage. The daughters friend then called police.
When they arrived around 5 p.m., the suspects, Antwan Brown, 24 and Maurice Brown, 20 were downstairs on the front porch. Antwan attempted to flee, but was caught by police.
The Browns were arrested and charged with one count of kidnapping each, with an additional drug paraphernalia charge for Antwan and CCW violations for Maurice.
The mom was home at the time, hiding in her room. When she heard Police, she feared for her life. The daughter was at work.
