VILLAGE OF MANTUA, OH (WOIO) - The boil alert for the Village of Mantua has been lifted as of 4:33 p.m. Monday. The water is safe for drinking.

On Saturday, August 3, the water was shut off in the Village of Mantua for repairs to a damage water line.

The Village Fire Department confirmed that the water service was restored at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night and a boil alert was issued.

The Red Cross and Hiram Fire Department provided bottled drinking water and tanker water to residents during the boil alert.
