DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police are investigating a motorcycle accident that sent a driver and his passenger to a local emergency room.
On Monday, August 4, at about 2:20 a.m., a 25-year-old male lost control a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle on I-90 east on the Innerbelt Bridge.
Officers say when the driver struck the median barrier, he and his 26-year-old female passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.
Both victims were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators say speed appears to have contributed to the crash.
