Around 9:30 a.m. this morning, Mayor Collins is expected to address the media once again regarding the water crisis in Toledo.
At a news conference earlier today Collins announced the ban will remain in effect after the EPA's tests came back positive.
The results show the microcystin levels are about one parts per billion, and that is too high.
Officials say drinking the water could cause vomiting, cramps and rashes.
Water contamination centers in the area reopened at 8:00 a.m.
400,000 residents in both Ohio and Michigan are affected by the ban.
