Cleveland (WOIO) - Corey Kluber continued his dominant ways, and Michael Brantley and Lonnie Chisenhall gave him plenty to work with, as the Indians extended their win streak to four with a 7-1 win over the Reds in the Battle of Ohio.
Brantley's fielder's choice brought Jason Kipnis home in the first, and his single in the 5th brought Jose Ramirez across, Brantley's 71st RBI of the season. But it was Chisenhall's 3-run homer in the fourth that blew the game open, giving Kluber a 4-0 lead, and the Indians ace took it from there.
Kluber went 7.1IP, giving up six hits and striking out seven, before giving way to Nick Hagadone. Hagadone promptly gave up an RBI double to spoil the shutout, but the Indians' bullpen shut it down from there.
Yan Gomes added a two-run homer in the 8th to seal the deal.
