Reinstated: Tracy Sprinkle is a Buckeye once again

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - Redshirt-freshman defensive lineman Tracy Sprinkle is back on the Ohio State University football team.

The University announced Monday that Sprinkle had been reinstated to the football program but   suspended him for the first game.

Earlier this month Sprinkle pleaded no contest to an amended misdemeanor charge of attempted failure to comply with a police order.

Sprinkle was arrested on July 5, 2014 for fighting outside the Grown & Sexy Lounge in Lorain.
He was sentenced to a 30-day suspended jail term and two years probation.

Sprinkle was immediately suspended from the team after his arrest.

Sprinkle is from Elyria and played football for Elyria High School.
