10-year-old hides during pizza shop robbery; see what she has to say!

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A quick-thinking little girl found cover under a counter while the pizza shop she was in was being robbed.

Akron Police say a couple of armed men walked into Talmo's Pizza on  Kenmore Boulevard Friday evening.

The 10-year old, whose dad was inside the restaurant, heard what was going on and ran and hid underneath the counter until it was over.

"I was like ok 'Dad I am really scared really scared' and I was crying.  I was scared to death," says the 10-year-old girl. "We were crunched down in the corner under a counter."

The robbers, who were wearing ski masks, ended up getting away with a wallet from one of the workers, a cell phone and $81.00.

"One of the Dudes were like 'I hope I don't have to kill anybody tonight'. Like Dude, why would you say that?" says the 10-year-old girl.  "That was my first one. I'm just a little girl."

No one was injured.

So far no one has been arrested. If you have any information call Akron police at 330-375-2490.

"I think they should live a happy life. They shouldn't be robbing people. It's just mean and selfish," adds the 10-year-old girl.
