A candlelight vigil is planned Tuesday night for the teen killed and two of her friends who were injured when the car they were in was hit on River Styx Road in Summit County.
The vigil is for 16-year-old Katherine Baback, who was killed and Valerie Snyder, 15, and Earlena Couch, 16, both injured. They were on their way to a sleepover Sunday night when the accident happened.
The vigil begins at 8:30 p.m. at Revere High School in Richfield. Organizers are asking that everyone meet at "Flagpole Athletic Complex", between the baseball and football fields. (The gym will be open if it is raining.)
Police say Jeremy Goodrich was heading south and his Jeep went left of center crashing head-on into Baback's car. He was hospitalized and his condition is fair.
The crash remains under investigation. So far charges have been filed.
